Duke Manor is one of the worst apartment complexes. For someone being from the hood, my intentions were to get away from all the shootings, robberies, etc. There was about 7 break-ins in one week at one point. I've heard gun shots in the middle of the night since the week I've moved in . I can barely sleep because I'm so scared something is going to happen to me. I've lived in a one bedroom by myself for about 6 months and then my boyfriend moved in with me so I could feel a bit safer. There have been several robberies with people going to and coming from their cars. The only good thing about duke manor is that when something needs to be fixed they respond quickly, other than that this complex really needs to be shut down.
