I lived in this place little over 3 years. we are the one who moved in first into the Beaver Dam Run complex while the rest of the apts. for this are was still under construction back in 2000. The "so" called gated community most of the time remain opened. But it's very close to I-40, RTP and couple of restaurants popped up in the Miami blvd (i.e. close to the Shell/BP Gas Stations where 54 cuts into...) which is very nice. We never had any issues or problems. The maintenace was bad. Eventhough the guys work at are nice guys. When I renewed my lease for the fourth year, they gave me different rent ($200 more) than one of my friend who moved into the same floor plan just next block or bldg. number. I had to prove that to get the same deal as that of my friend. Overall shop around before you move in here. But it's not a bad place at all. The Workout room, Swimming pools are all great.
