We've been living in a 2nd floor 2 bedroom 1 bath at Emerald Forest for 2 weeks now, and we are highly satisfied. The office staff are great, the maintenance guy was awesome (we put in request to have some minor things done and he was here in less than 24 hours), and the grounds are excellent. It's surrounded by pine trees, so street noise is kept to a minimum (and everything smells like pine - lovely!) One reviewer wrote that the 2nd story floors sag, and we found this to be true, too. Also, the kitchen cabinets and drawers are cheaply made, but other than these small things, it's great. We almost never hear noise from the other apartments. The complex is pretty quiet at night - even on the weekends. The pools are small but clean and the laudry facilities (if you don't have your own washer and dryer) are more than adequate. Overall, I would certainly give this place a thumbs up.
