I lived at Emerald Forest for 3years and i really enjoyed my stay. I had the normal complaints of hearing the loud music of my neighbors but come on now it's an apartment you will have that everywhere you go. The office staff is very nice and helpful. The maintenence guys are very friendly and the turn around on a request is very quick. The only problem i had was the walls started to become sutty and when my apartment flooded, they did not put me up in another vacatn apartment until it was done so i had to manueuver around the big fans for about a week. Other than that, I had a very lovely time there. Friendly neighbors and staff. If you are looking to not have noisy neighbors or being able to hear conversations b/c of paper thin walls, then please consider buying a home!! Apartment living is like playing the lottery sometimes you luck out on quiet neighbors sometimes you don't.

How do you highly recommend a place after the way you were treated when your apartment flooded? Living in a damp musty apartment with huge air circulator fans for a week when they could do better than that cancels any favorable rating, unless you like the smell of mold and manuevering around the fans. The thin walls are why you hear your neighbors, not because they are loud. The grounds behind the buildings were not well kept. Most office staffs are friendly and helpful with maintenance crews that are prompt. They'd better be. There are too many places to live for them to be worse. The real difference in quality is when you have severe problems, how are they handled and how are you treated! Emerald Forest did not treat me well, and it appears they didn't treat you well either. You just don't realize it. Plus I had to contact them to get my security deposit back almost 2 weeks after it should have been mailed to me. Their 'no-forwarding address' excuse was just that. They had a phone number for me and my mailing address was updated at the post office. They just wanted to keep my money as long as possible. If you think this is a great place to live, I've got a bridge in NY city that you can buy.

To Ezgoingrenter Man, you have probably serious attitude problems. You are full of bad energy and anger! Get rich, get a psychologist and buy the perfect house for you, where nothing will ever break or be out of your control (as if this is possible in life...). Good Luck!
