Don't move HERE

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
This was my first apartment when I moved off campus my sophomore year. At first it was okay, but after staying there for about 6 months. I happen to come home one day from work to find a mushroom growing beneath my carpet (can you imagine)! I called them to report it because automatically I feared that there could be mold throughout the apartment and I had already been exposed to it thus far. Do you know they really expected me to stay there while they treated it, which meant they had to remove my bar and sink which left me with no sink. And they really thought it was okay. So after having to get a lawyer because my renters insurance didn't cover anything because none of my property was damaged, they finally moved me into another building within a week. In the meantime I had to stay with my boyfriend and basically could not go home. Well, it gets worse after moving to the new building which was on a whole new side. It got ghetto, being a woman who lives alone I began to fear for my safety because of the residents on that side. Anyway after staying there to finish out my lease 3 months later. I had just gotten home from grocery shoppping and was taking my things into my apartment and when I turned around to go back to my car, MY ENTIRE CAR was gone! Can you believe that, the next week I moved to Brier Creek where I still reside as I continued to pay my rent at this apartment too so that I would not be penalized for breaking the lease. Take my word for it it may be cheap but your safety is way more important, Don't move here!!
