Not So Great

When we first moved in here, everything seemed perfect. However, the quality of life has consistently declined in the latter months. Parking is scarce, the dog park, though it's great to have is not well maintained, and the office staff is overall not too friendly and helpful.
Often, I have to park far away from my apartment. One of my friends was forced to park in a handicapped space one night and was then given a $40 ticket by the courtesy officer. Another friend was forced to park on the curb and then had his car towed for $250.
Like I said, the dog park is great, but the canisters for the waste are not well maintained; last week they were overflowing with poop. While there is a problem with people not picking up their dogs' waste, some of that problem stems from the lack of bags provided near the canisters.
Mike is by far the friendliest person on the office staff; he has always been friendly and helpful. The maintenance guys are great as well. However, some members of the office staff are completely rude and usually have a challenging attitude. Customer service is not their strength, to say the least. One of them once asked me "What's the problem here'" in a snide manner. While they are nice enough to convince you to move in, they definitely do not try to keep tenants here after their leases run out; in fact, they raise the rent far beyond the market values.
With Target and Michaels coming next year, the traffic will become even worse than it is now. If you plan on moving in here in the next few months, beware of the construction, the trucks, and the noise.
With all this being said, I must say that the other tenants here are very considerate and personable and this is still a far nicer apartment community than most others in this area.
