Not a good choice

I lived at the Lodge when it first opened 5 years ago. My apartment was brand new, but it was not free of problems. We had several maintenance requests. They also used very cheap appliances, fixtures, and flooring.
The office staff was terribly rude and I only dealt with them when I had too. The amenities that they offered seemed nice at first glance, but they were not taken care of. Equipment in the fitness center was constantly broken and the billards area was always a mess from kids.
I also don't recommend the area. With the mall, new shops, and DATA bus line right outside your front door, you're just asking for sketchy random people to be in the area.
I have since moved to the Brier Creek area and love it. I can't recommend that area enough. Still convenient to RTP, Duke, Raleigh and Durham and close, but not too close, to shopping, dining, and entertainment.
