If you're an undergrad with undergrad tendencies to drink and party, then The Lodge is the place for you. However, if you're a young professional looking for a nice, quiet, convenient place to call home then you may want to look elsewhere. Within the last few months the number of 'students' living here has swelled. Along with the increase in their numbers, there has been an increase in noise throughout the community. For example the other night someone hosted a pool party. The noise could be heard at buildings well distant from the pool. While the staff advertises the presence of a courtesy officer, no such intervention tamed this party. There are also other instances of students screaming and chasing each other in the parking lot, hosting drinking games on their balcony, and just be obnoxious neighbors. Don't get me wrong: I'm not anti-student. However, when you move into a community that doesn't cater to students, then months later the face of the community suddenly changes and along with it the quiet setting, you begin to think it's time to move. Don't count on the property manager to intervene. She's completely content barricading herself in her office, and don't hold your breath that she'll return your call on any matters you'd like to discuss with her. Apparently, as long as the rent checks keep coming, it matters not the quality of life of ALL the residents.

That is really sad-this place looked really enticing and being a young professional I thought it would be a great place to move since I'm looking for a quite, nice apartment, but I have had my share of party apartments and don't plan on moving into another one. I'm sorry the complex has taken a downturn and thank you for your truthful review!
