Must weigh the pros and cons

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2004
I moved to North Pointe Commons about 3 months after they opened up. Initially, it was great. The community was quiet and well-lit, and my neighbors were great. Since that time, I have seen many, many people come and go. The complex has changed management companies about 3 times since I've been there. The rent is ridiculous for all that you do not get. A lot of the perks that were available when I first moved in have been eliminated with new management styles. Also, the specials to get you into the apartment are great, but look out when it's time to renew your lease. Your rent will jump drastically, which lead a lot of people to stay only one year. Since apartment sales have been down over the past 1 1/2 years, I think the complex has gotten a little lax about who they let in. Recently, I have problems with loud music; young, rowdy neighbors; beer bottles in the parking lot; and loud children running the parking lot 10-11 o'clock at night. The community has fallen from their pedestal.
