I moved to Oak Creek Village in April of this year and now this property does not only have great prices but the property looks great. They have added a kids playground, a community center with internet access, a fitness center, sand volleyball area, picnic tables, 2 laundry facilities, etc. There is a 24 emergency maint. and onsite security everyday in where you can contact the officer directly to their cel phone if anything is needed. I heard many things about this property and was not sure if I really wanted to move here, but I'm glad I did. So far, I do not have any complaints from the office staff, maintenance or security staff as well as my neighbors. No one can deny all the money that has been put into this property and no matter how this property was before, a true fact is that today it is a good and affordable place to live and has any ammenities a luxury and expensive apt. complex may have.

unfortunately the money that was put into the property has not lasted nor has the maintenance to the grounds. They put up a play area for kids and some picnic areas and a volley ball pit after they redid the parking lot. But the problem is the kids dont just play on the play area (the one jungle gym they put up next to the pool area) they also play in the street and in the parking areas. Ive almost hit several kids chasing balls into the street and had to coast behind a m_exican on his bike riding down the middle of the driveway and he wouldnt move. The residents consistantly park with their cars about a foot or two over the sidewalk so if you are walking down the sidewalk you arent safe from being hit either. The two laundry facilities require a special card to even get in the door that you have to buy from the apartment manager for 5 dollars then put money on it and use that to clean your clothes which is a total rip off. Then on top of that they arent 24/7 either so you have the possibility of getting your clothes locked up for the night if you are doing your laundry late in the evening. The "capital special police" are at best ineffective at keeping the loitering down (Ive personally had to yell at people sitting on my car and using it for a beer coaster) and Ive only seen them patrol the grounds a few times in the months theyve been employed here. Plus while they have been "keeping the peace" here ive had my mailbox broken into. This community has gone downhill very far since the improvements were made...sorry to say it though cause they were on the right track a year and a half ago... I was almost proud to live here... key word almost.
