I am not a resident yet but it seems to me that all of the negative reviews have little to do with the area except to complain about the hispanic/latino population and what they are doing. I currently live in an area where we try to accept everyone and learn about others cultures so that we can be more tolerant of others. Maybe people in Durham should give this a try. This community seemed fine to me on my visit so I'm not sure what all of the complaining is about.

I agree. I have been living here for 1 year and just renewed. I just obtained a police report for the Durham area and this place has had 2 incidents for the past months compared to near luxurius apt. communities that showed between 8-15 incidents. I suggest people looking for a new place to live to get a police report instead of looking for what type of culture lives in that community, YOU WILL BE SURPRISED!!! I have a nice apt, pay affordable rent and live in the best location in the Durham area. NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL!!!!

Funny somebody who lives at this complex would be looking up the info on here....and I beg to differ on the police reports as there have been 3 articles in the Hearld-Sun just this year about crime activity at this Oak Creek complex...plus a shooting. Renter-B-ware: Be cautious about this place...there's a lot of "whitewashing" the ratings and score going on here.

if you arent a resident then dont post a review. just because you took a golf cart ride around the place doesnt mean that youve put up with the loitering latinos and the loud music and the poor workmanship on the apartment repairs done around the place. They just repaved the parking lot the year before last so for the last 5 or 6 years the driveway was full of potholes and patches. The papa johns pizzeria across the street in a little strip mall closed because they got robbed almost once a week for years! So just because you have seen the place doesnt mean you know wtf youre talking about

I work down the road from this place and have heard horrible things- people don't even want to use the BP across the street for gas because of the influx of "bad" residents that also loiter across the street from the complex. As for the poster- if it wasn't that bad why didn't you rent there?

If you people are so unhappy there break your leases and go elsewhere. You sit and complain but you do nothing to make things better. Start a neighborhood watch, get police involved with the community, do something other than complain about your neighbors and community. Or here's an idea, go pay the higher rent someplace where you think you'll feel safe. I lived in one of those communities in the RTP and we had gang members living there. And I didn't rent there because I had to stay in Maryland to care for my ill, elderly mother.
