Great location, horrible management and conditions

These apartmments are older, and I knew that moving in. However, I did not know there were mold problems and I didn't realize maintenance was completely incompetent. They've change the maintenance staff several times, and there's always someone new working in the office. The only constant (pain in the @$$) is the property manager.
There are much nicer, newer apartments in this area for less money. Paying almost $700 a month for something that even looks like they're not maintained, has crooked steps, balconies that look like they could rot off, is just WAY too much. Rent here should not be more than $500-$550. Oh, and good luck getting your rent negotiated if you're unfortunate enough to stay to renew your lease.
Overall, these would be great apartments if they were completely renovated. But they won't spend a time to do that, which is really too bad considering the great location and trails right here.
