We've lived at Parkside at Woodlake for 3 years now, making the transition through several apartment managers and staff. The current staff is lacking in keeping track of call backs/messages and general customer service (in particular, the young man in the office!).
Have noticed the serious changes in new tenants--lots of folks loitering aobut, more teenagers & unruly children, more lound music. Do not feel nearly as comfortable now versus when we initially moved in (fortuntately, our building has remained pretty much "untouched")!!
Location-wise, the area is great!!! Very convenient to I-40, Southpoint Mall, Fayetteville Road. The added bonuses are the Woodcroft walking trail and dog park within walking distance, and NO pet rent, (open to dogs of ALL sizes).
Parking seems to be getting worse and worse. If you arrive home after 6pm, be ready for a walk! Many cars that are unused sit in usable spots.
Price-wise, well, better than most places in the RTP area. Expect rent increases however.
