When we first moved in it was great, The staff treated us with respect and very helpful, Then we found out we were expecting our daughter so we wanted to move back up north to be closer with our family. I told the office staff 5 months before our contract was up, that we would be moving out when our contract was up. I asked them what I need to do If I had to give them anything in writing, they said no. So a week before we were going to move in March I droped off what i was the last month rent check. As I was talking to a staff member the manger over heard me talking, and told me that I would need to also pay for next month as well. When I asked why she said it because I never gave a letter in writing that I was moving out. I told, her but "when I was here 5 months ago and asked you did you need a letter in writing, you told me no, now your tring to charge me another months rent." She then told me sorry and walked away!!!! How messed up is that'' They need to take some class in communaction. So Be careful when renting from Parkside at Woodlake, they are scam artist!!!!!

So outside of that incident did you have any other issues living in the community?
