Never go to this apartment, they give information of lack.

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
Actually, I didn?t live here.
But I tried to find an apartment there recently.
I came here in US one year ago and
I worked as a professional scientist.
Now, I?ve got a position from Duke and am going to move there.
I decided this apartment because the deal was nice and they waive the application fee and administration fee for Duke employee.
At first, everything seemed to go fine.
But I?ve got the call that they declined my application from the information saferent.com.
First, they didn?t explain why they rejected me.
As far as I know, a foreigner like me, usually has no credit in US.
That might cause some problem, then usually the manager in apartment increase my security deposit to allow me to live there.
And as I see the saferent homepage and talk with the representative in saferent, they told me that they don't decide and they just recommend to the manager for deciding.
The manager kept saying that I must contact saferent to know what is the exact reason.
But the saferent told me that the decision is made by the manager, not by the saferent.
Overall impressions about these happening in my guess (because their words are not trustworthy) are
1) This apartment is highly demanding, so they just decided not to give me that apartment for THEIR OWN SCORING with SAFErent
2) They told me the lacking information for the application and hide something behind the wall.
3) They didn?t explain to me the whole process and I can be declined if there is something wrong.
But as far as I know, their decision in saferent is depending on their mind to accept me. (like increasing the deposit or something.)
4) They offer the lower rent fee and have many applicants and select the most SCORING
person to let in and get the application fee ($45).
If it 4) is true, they must do like auction and
must give it back to the participants.
Never apply to this creepy apartment if you don?t have credit record in US.
Or you must have a cosigner and a cosigner should give them another application fee ($45) and they told me about that information
when my cousin went there to cosign.
They are only taking your application fee away with deducing ignorant people with low prices.
I will keep spreading this information all over the internet and to my friend not to go to that apartment as much as I can do.
You should not judge people with your own measures like Jesus told us.
