We lived here from 03 to 05, and we considered that it was Ok...

It is true that there are less Duke students/professionals leasing here that when we first moved.

But it is still nice to see people walking their dogs, and the ample spaces between apartments makes it a "nice" place to live (specially for families)

Regarding security, we have not had an issue, and the manager's boyfriend is a cop that lives here (you can see his car - usually at night)

If you can pay a "better" and "nicer" place you should consider the Alexans or the Archstone.

But for a family with a tigth budget (as a full time student) this is Ok.

And when we came here we didn't have credit history, but we showed them our paperwork of Duke's students and they reduced the deposit from 200 to 50.

In winter time, pinnacle staff can be seen cleaning and removing the ice/snow (And I haven't seen that happening at the other apartments near!)
