I am the one that wrote the "good living" post and I just wanted to add some comments to the "i don't think so" post.

* I agree that past management was much better. I miss Morgan and esp. Beth who was very gracious and active in their involvement. Current management can barely stand to smile at you. I have a friend who is looking at moving in and said that Shauna is very good but others seemed very unapproachable and it disturbed her.

* I agree the soundproofing is terrible. I can hear everything above and around in other apartments This is not helped by the fact that the new neighbor upstairs walks around like an elephant. I know that I need to move into a house but after all the effort they put into making the units like houses you would think they would have addressed this.

* The grounds of late have looked awful! There is garbage all over the place. Even my friends that were visiting commented on it! This in my eyes is a key factor in judging that current management sucks. I lived in another apt in the area that had ALOT of issues but at least they had groundskeeper who would pick up stray trash.

* I never used the business center but thought it was odd that they changed it to a ?laptop library?. The fitness center always has broken equipment. I used the pool recently to grill out and there were cobwebs and pollen over all the furniture. People are using it more now so maybe that will get cleaned up.

* The maj. of student pop. has moved out and it could not have come sooner. Curious to see how the empty units will get filled.

I still stand by my rating. Every apt. has its issues. I am lucky that the soundproofing noise is not constant and that my unit is not facing parking. I still think the space and design of units make it desirable over other complexes in the area. It was important to have a space that did not feel like an ?apartment?. And the neighbors for the most part are friendly
