Good apartment, but lousy community

So the apartment itself is quite nice, and it's the only place I've found that has 3 bed/3 bath. But parking is absolutely terrible. You're required to have a parking permit, and visitor spaces are few and far between. Parking policy is NOT enforced, despite the fact that there are 8 buildings sharing about 50 parking spaces in my circle. I have to go over at least 6 speed bumps to get to my apartment. Management has changed twice since signing the lease, and we get memos every week about new policies, most of which only make my life more difficult. The memos usually mention when painters/power washers are coming by, but there's always at least a week between the memo and the painters actually being on my building. I can think of at least 4 times when people were either on the roof, on ladders outside my window, or ON MY BALCONY when I was not informed that they would be there.
Office staff has improved a little, but when I first moved in, my main thought was that they were incredibly unorganized and unprofessional. They spray for bugs every few months, but we've had a silverfish problem ever since moving in. The lake in the middle of the complex seems like a nice perk, but it actually just attracts bugs and geese (which, of course, means the walk around the lake is covered in droppings). The lake is also not maintained well and is mostly just ugly. They'd do better to fill it in and create more parking.
Also, they closed the pool in September (prior to Labor Day), and you can't even get in to lay out or read.
At first, I really thought I'd like that there is a gate attendant, but mostly having him means that visitors are expected to call whoever they're visiting from their personal cell phone to confirm that they're not someone random. Only problem with that is that there's no identifying information other than your apartment number, which if you know the numbering system is easy to get by. It would be much more secure to make people use the call box. It's also completely unpredictable when the attendant will be there, or whether or not the gate will be open at any given hour too. And don't assume that just because the gate is closed that it's actually locked. Most of the time it will open if you drive up to it.

So my rent is pretty cheap, and I've liked the apartment itself other than the silverfish problem, but I hate the community. I'm definitely moving as soon as the lease is up.
