My husband and I have been living here for almost 4 months. I have been wanting to move out since our first week in here!! I can't wait for the lease to be up!!
* We've had like 3 weeks of awesome weather, and the pool is STILL closed!! It's middle of May for God's sake!!!
* The speed bumps are so high they scrape the bottom of my husband's car...which is not a low-rider.
* 50% of my mail that is sent to our address here, has been returned. We still can't figure out why.
* You can hear EVERYTHING in the apartment above you. It really does sound like herds of rhinos are running across the floor. I can also hear the dog barking in the apartment above me.
* There is dog poop all over the walkway to my apartment door. Some idiot owner lets their dog run around free and poop all over the only place to walk through to get to your home. It will piss me off royally when I don't see it and accidentally step in it!
* When we've called the office for any reason, they wait until 2 minutes before they close to call you back, even if you've called at 9:30 am when they open.
* People are constantly yelling and loud outside...you might as well not have walls, you can hear is clear as day.
* The bathtubs are so loud and squeaky when you shower you need earplugs so it doesn't make you deaf.
* Bottom line...if it didn't cost so much to break the lease, we would be out already.
WE HATE THIS PLACE. DON'T MOVE IN. SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ

Some people just like to complain - and this drives me crazy. I usually don't post on these things but this one really got to me. I used to live at this apartment complex. Being bored today I thought I'd look around and revisited my old home. To your points:
1. So they didn't open the pool at a time that you wanted them to. They probably had to get it cleaned and treated.
2. I have a regular car and it never used to scrape the speed bumps. Try this - slow down.
3. You probably need to call the company's you are having trouble with as it relates to returned mail. They probably haven't included your apt. # or they are sending it to W. Woodcroft.
4. You are living with other people with differing lifestyles. If someone is being unreasonably loud then call the office and call a noise complaint in to the police.
5. There will be inconsiderate idiots no matter where you choose to live.
6. Maybe they're really busy? We never had this problem.
7. See # 5. This was rarely a problem when we lived there.
8. Call maintenance and ask them to fix it.
9. Yeah, I agree on this one - the break lease terms are really bad.
If you don't want to deal with other people's garbage and if you need control over where you live, then don't live in an apartment. Those things bother me too, but you kind of sign up for them if you don't own your own home.

Thanks for your response to my review. I'd like to start by saying, I'm not one to complain, but the things we've gone through here are unbelievably bad compared to previous apartments I've lived in. 1. If someone moves into an apartment with a pool...that is part of what we're paying for...they can clean and treat it ahead of time...knowing that the weather will be nice in May. It didn't open until Memorial Day...after 6 weeks of great weather. 2. We don't fly over speed bumps...my husband goes as slow as possible to avoid the scrape... nothing helps. We are not idiots enough to speed over bumps and purposely ruin our cars. 3. Its not only mail from companies we're missing, also personal packages were returned to family members - who did double check the address. We still don't know why we don't get certain things. 4. We have called the office several times on the unbelievable noise from upstairs...they have not done a thing. We went up and talked to the people ourselves and asked them nicely to try to keep it quiet after a certain time, and they were rude...and nothing has gotten better. I do not want to get the police involved in it. 5. You're right, and it sucks. 6. Every time I've gone into the office its empty except for a few staff members sitting at their desks. I have a feeling that being too busy is not the issue. 7. The complaint about the loud people is not the people, but the quality of the building that we can hear so clearly through the outdoor walls. 8. The squeaky tub is not an easy fix unless they decide to replace all of the tubs. I can hear my upstairs neighbors loudly when they are in either shower, as I'm sure my downstairs neighbors can hear us. So loud! 9. I JUST moved up here from another state. I'm not stupid enough to just go out and buy a house before I've gotten to know the area. You never know if you won't like it in a new area/state... which is why we had no other choice but to rent an apartment while we take time to get to know our surroundings and take our time to buy a house... believe me...we will be in a house shortly!! I only suggest that someone find a better apartment complex if they are in my same situation.
