I currently live at Southpoint Crossing, and I am moving out next month. As you have read from other reviewers, this is not a good place to live. This complex has continued to decline since Archstone sold the property to SD Bell and Company. The security is horrible (almost every resident has either has an apartment or car break in, and if you move in, you will be robbed), and the apartments have a severe mold and insect problem. The staff are the rudest people I have ever met. Currently the manager is Amy Leber, and any resident will agree that she is one of the most rudest people you will ever meet. They will smile in your face to get you to sign a contract, but once you move in you will see the truth.
I am writing this review to help people not go through what I have been through in the last two years. This place is not worth the money and the rude staff. If you truly want to live in this area, try looking at "The Lodges at SouthPoint", "Audobon Lake", or "Pine Ridge". These places are much cheaper, and the crime rates are much lower.
