I am in the process of moving to the area. No, I'm not apart of the management here, because I know many of you who want to complain think that if its not negative then it must be an employess. Well it's not. I just laugh at your reviews. Have you never lived at an apartment community before this'
You are renting, which if you want things your way... BUY! You people are not the only tenants who live there. I worked part time while in school at a community and let me tell you, there is never a slow moment. There isn't time to personally come "knock" on your door to discuss why you apparently can't abide by the community polocies. Communities don't take cash because of your own safety. It's not just here, its everywhere! Maybe a shady property would, but this polocy protects you so don't complain. Pay your rent on time and its not an issue... you don't have to worry about late rent procedures. Those who want to complain about apartment noise.... IT'S AN APARTMENT! Management can not tell someone to not walk around. If its music or something that can be controlled, I'm sure that a letter would be sent out. If it bothers you that much, get off your lazy ass and go tell them to cut it down yourself because sometimes people don't pay attention to what management says. Or better yet BUY a house! People you kill me with your complaints. I've lived in a one bedroom that cost over $800 a month and still had the noise issue. Its a part of living in an apartment... sad, but true.
Those who are looking for a place, keep in mind that residents who come to these sites have most likely not gotten their way so this is a way to get revenge on a community. Luckily, I've been in the business before so I know a little bit about it to not listen to some of it. Granted some of the reviews, like the drugs and type of people living their throw up a red flag but look at dates too. Find out if its under new management and see if problems have been resolved. Also keep in mind, income for a person wanting to move in is based on an rent to income ratio.... the cheaper the rent the lower class people to live there because they don't need to make a lot to qualify. Lastly, this is Durham and Southpoint mall is right down the street from the ghetto/hood. So don't leave things that are costly in ur car. You will get targeted, its not rocket science people.
Use your own judgement and keep "real life" scenerios in mind when reading any rating. Some of these people just have no common sense apparently because some of their complaints show their character and you can see why there may have been problems.

Inspiring life lessons from the management. Thanks a lot.
People can see that what you say isn't true since other apt complexs have good ratings.
Stay off this site management and let the renters decide.
