Not worth the price

Apartments are nicely laid out. The management is very friendly, but one gets the feeling that they are not quite up to the task of running such a large complex.
Maintanence is hit-or-miss. Occasionally problems are corrected immediately, but usually two or three calls are required.
Noise is a major problem. The apartments are not well insulated from exterior sounds and neighboring apartments. Many of the tenants are students at nearby Duke University, so evenings and weekends can be quite noisy.
Crime is a definate concern in this area of Durham, although I personally have not had any problems.
My biggest beef is their insistance on entering the apartment very frequently for things such as routine maintanence (changing air filters), requested maintanence (see above, however), and "mandatory inspections".
