My husband and I lived at Springfield for one year. We were on the second floor, which was a mistake. I don't know if it's that the floors and walls are very thin, but we constantly heard anything that went on above us. Lots of sounds that sounded like people stomping above your head. Another thing was the pipes...each morning, we could hear the people above us take showers because the pipes would creak. It was quite loud. Besides the noise issues, the apartment was nice. We really liked the inside and outside and the maintenance staff were quick to respond to any request. I would recommend this apartment complex but live on the top floor to avoid the noise.
