Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
The renovated apartment interiors may dazzle you for the price, but your safety is worth more!
The first sign that the complex wasn't safe happened about a year ago, when my car was among several around my building that were broken into ... and the problems peaked a few months ago when an apartment a couple of doors down from me was "shot up" (complete with bullet holes in the blinds) -- and I learned this from a neighbor, not the apartment management.
Aside from this oversight, the current management is friendly and helpful, which I believe is a result of new ownership of the complex; it seems that they are doing their best to clean up the place. But there's only so much they can do, I suppose.
To put my experience here simply: Turning in my keys after moving out marked one of the best days in recent memory.
