looks nice & nice residents, but too many negatives

I moved here this fall (September 2006). For the most part I have been pretty disappointed. Water pressure in the showers is bad. Fuse's blow fairly easily. Sound proofing appears to be non existent. Things in my apartment break constantly due to poor workmanship/design. The clubhouse wireless is often not working. There are rarely any towels in the overly crowded (i.e. expect to wait for equipment) gym, nor has the system in the gym that is supposed to allow one to listen to TV channels through FM radio on a personal headset ever worked. There is a beautiful spinning room, but it appears to be there just for looks as there is only one spinning class a week, and it is early Saturday morning - not an ideal time for many.
I have encountered the same problems with management that others describe, but I find that as long as you ask for things (such as paper for the printer, or for a package that was delivered to the office for you) really, really nicely and in an apologetic manner, then you can pretty much avoid their expressions of annoyance.
I will say that the social events do seem to happen as advertised, and people enjoy them. I also like my neighbors. Unfortunately, the money I pay is not worth all the negatives that I've encountered & I will be moving when my lease expires.
