Poor Management and Noisy Neighbors
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 8/20/2003
Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2003
I am FINALLY out of West Village! After being there only 6 months, I felt a major since of relief and safety being back in Raleigh. Like many others I had problems with pan-handlers approaching as I get out of my car. I even had someone knocking on my window asking for money. But this is the least of my complaints.
Our neighbors above must wear wooden shoes and play marbles all the time. I constantly heard something rolling around on their floor. I could hear their voices and even smell their cooking! Is it just me, or is it rude to run your garbage disposal at midnight'
Now for the whopper- The management! My roommate and I were forced to pay an extra two months rent because the manager decided to deny that we did not give proper notice. Even after presenting her with copies of documents she still denies it. DO NOT LIVE HERE! We were threatened with litigation, and who are we to fight a large corporation like Drucker and Falk' Do yourself a favor and do not move into this complex where YOU will bear the brunt of the poor, sluggish rental industry.
Like others, I do not wish to reveal my name, as I suspect the manager to be vendictive. She even told lies to my old roommate regarding a conversation I attempted to have with her.
