I wish I had known of this website earlier, like before I moved in. My girlfriend and I lived here for some time and were rejoicing when our move out day finally came. We pay much less for the home we own than our apartment at West Village. You can hear someone cough or sneeze in the apartment next door and that is not the worst to be heard. The walls are not insulate at all, contrary to the manager's selling point and bandaid of solution by suggesting some slap together job of soundproofing which never worked and maintenance just show up whenever they want to do it and leave a mess.
You can probably not find the same authentic warehouse in other complexes but the appeal wears off. When dealing with the manager make sure you document everything; she conveniently forgets important details and committments to her benefit and most unpleasant to deal with, and after reading the many comments before mine: I agree on vindictiveness.
