I am a current resident at West Village and have lived here since 2003. I immensely enjoy the area and the community. It's cool to walk at night to eat and my neighbors are great.
Beware of the noise. Fortunately this is an issue not hidden by management. When I moved in, they asked me if I was bothered by noise and I said yes. They placed me a building without noise.
I pay more than other places around but enjoy the convenience and novely. I would rent again.
