Professionals think twice

West Village is very attractive for those wanting to move to downtown Durham, but there seem to be more students than young professionals despite the upper scale rent ranges and what the management says about their undergrad policy. Even in Phase II there are many students living here. It can be very loud at late hours, and my car has been hit and run in the parking lot (by a car with a Duke sticker). Had I known the demographic, I would have opted for one of the other residential loft spaces downtown.
