DANGEROUS' Are you kidding' If you look into any of those statements you will see the same. The only time the police have been in the community was when an out of state drunk driver backed into 2 PARKED CARS in the parking lot and drove off. When the police came, she barricaded herself in her home to try to avoid any responsibilty. The police arrested the young lady after miserably failing a sobriety test. I would not be surprised if she is the same one writting all of these false statements. I encourage anyone (regardless of the location you are moving to) to contact the local police department to find out about any police activity that has taken place in particular area. It's public information, so you have the right to know. I have resided in these apartments for 5 years and there have not been any repeated police activity, LET ALONE repeated break-ins. This is a very quiet and peaceful community, where the neighbors are friendly and speak as they pass. The office staff is helpful and friendly.Since Armando and Jessica joined the property management staff here, we have began to have community functions. They have made an effort to unite the community and offer a fun atmosphere to enjoy your neighbors or meet new ones. The maintainence staff is very quick to respond, and are not illegals, or any other racist stereotypes that have been falsely portrayed. I have allowed maintainence as well as office staff in my home on several occassions while I was not present, and there have never been any problems. It's up to you to choose the place you will reside, but please do not base your decision to live at Willowbrook off of these false accusations.

And you've been on staff there for how long? Get real. Not only can you not spell your own name correctly, you apparently can't read either. If you look at the previous reviews you will see A LOT of negative reviews, especially in the last couple of years. As a former resident, I totally agree w/the previous reviews where as this one is a load of crap.

The person that hit the cars was a resident, as it reads on the police report. If you read what I wrote, I said that if one is concerned about the safety of an apartment complex, they can call the local police department to see how often and when criminal activity has taken place.I definately do not work for the apartments, the above pictures are from my own place. The model does not look like my apartment. Willowbrook is for the MATURE crowd, so I guess that's why you don't like it. You are all about DRAMA and not about the FACTS!

No, being unable to spell your own name only proves how ignorant you are. You wrote NOTHING BUT LIES in your review. I've not only lived at that residence about a year ago but have spoken to others who lived there who had similar experiences, so I KNOW this is being written by the front office staff at Willowbrook. If it's so safe, why do you need to contact Chapel Hill PD? You can see the -------- in that statement right away. It's hard enough to find to a good place to live but w/y'alls management it's MISERABLE. Armando's HORRIBLE and as soon as he thinks he's getting in trouble he drops it on Jessica who is too scared to tell him no. Please tell the truth, make your complex more safe, and stop trying to screw the residents out of their hard earned money! Why the hell would I want to research how "safe" that place is when I certainly don't want to live there again! And after dealing w/the residents there I have NO doubt that my maturity/educational level is ABOVE and BEYOND the average resident PS - How do you know it was a resident who (allegedly) hit the cars, especially since the license plate was out of state?

Nice and peaceful huh? Is that why that apartment got broken into last month and the resident just escaped being raped?

yeah definitely a worker from the office. I just had over $3000 worth of stuff get stolen from this place. Add another lawsuit to the supposed list. I have seen this allison lady who cant spell her name respond favorably to this complex on several occasions. Crime is a large issue here...and the staff is in on it somehow.

Maybe things used to be safer in the past, but the police have been out here taking reports at least five times in the last six weeks for break-ins and one fight with a shooting. (I'm writing this in August 2009). This week someone tried to break down a door to an apartment in broad daylight, and while someone was at home! This place does look peaceful and respectable at first glance, but appearances are deceiving. I think some people are dealing drugs and that brings in a bad element. The property managers are completely unresponsive and have done NOTHING to make the place safer, despite numerous complaints from residents.

IDK who this Allison is but that bullcrap. My car just got broken into last Friday. 2 weeks before that I saw a car driving around without a window in the back. In August on a fine Saturday night, 3 cars got broken into on the same night. I was lucky enough to have been at my girlfriend's. Nothing was done after all these break ins. No extra flood lights were installed, they didnt even hire a neighbourhood watch group which I dont mind volunteering up to two nights a week if need be. Sending fliers after every break will NOT do anything. I talked to the officer who did the police report and he mentioned patrolling the complex the nights he's working. The complex didn't even request for extra patrols here. I'm drafting a letter right now to management and i'll seek signatures from every resident to have management start doing something about these break ins coz we've reached our end of the bargain. We can't take our cars in the apartment with us for fear of them getting broken into. There was nothing appealing in my car but they went ahead and broke in.
