As of this writing, August 14, 2009, four crimes, all occurring within the complex during the past month, have been reported to the police. These include three break-ins and a shooting. The shooting took place in the parking lot, within yards of the apartment buildings. One forced entry occurred during daylight hours. To date, Willow Brook management has done nothing to increase security. The manager's position is that residents (and only residents) are responsible for their own safety. Thus the only step the manager has taken is to post announcements of these crimes near the mailboxes, "to allow residents to take whatever steps are needed to protect themselves." Residents who find this situation unacceptable and intolerable are left with a single option: break their lease and pay a two month penalty.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Finally people are realizing how DANGEROUS that place is and the management couldn't care less about their residents. As a former resident I totally understand where you are coming from and you have my sympathy for your current living situation. Take care and get out of there as soon as you can.

agreed. If you are reading this in 2009 BE WARNED...you currently live or are a prospective inhabitant of HELL ON EARTH. Apt. administration makes plenty on the tennants rent $ and puts $0.00 into increasing or maintaining security. (maintaining security as of now would involve replacing street lights maybe). A man was just imprisoned for stealing regularly from these apartments, but don't feel safe....the managment STILL has changed nothing about security practices. Additionally the maintenance staff regularly hires people off of the street when short staffed...this is illegal. If all of this is not bad enough...Willowbrook actually has managment ON THIS WEBSITE making false claims about the supposedly splendid sanctuary, which is in reality, closer to HELL. Would it not be easier for them to actually support a positive living environment rather than supporting deception and demoralizing tenants.
