While a 2 bedroom townhouse for $570 a month may seem like a great deal, think again.
I am moving because recently 2 residents were robbed at gunpoint. The car right next to mine had its windows smashed out, and its stero stolen. I am afraid to walk my dog at night!
Besides that, there is a serious parking problem. Partly because some of the apartments have waaaay to many people living in them, and have between 3-5 cars!
And if you like the communal aspect of a community, there are constantly ALOT of kids running around with no supervision. You can hope that they don't decide they like you, they will just stand and look in your deck door waiting for you.
Groups of hoodlem looking teenagers hang out in groups, staring at people as they walk and drive by, making it rather uncomfortable if you want to walk anywhere.
Sidewalks don't connect within the apartment complex, and don't connect to the ones along the road, either.
I didn't have much interaction with the office or maintaince staff, can't really comment on them. I do know that there was complete turn over after about 4 months.
The laundry room is DISGUSTING. Dirty, run-down, and it stinks like feces! Go to a landrymat! Landscaping is pretty good. Buildings all look the same and are pretty bland. The pool is FULL of kids during the summer, I never used it, made me uncomfortable.
In the summer, my downstairs would be cool, and the upstairs ROASTING, and in the winter, the downstaris was COLD (bad insulation around the door/windows) and hot upstairs because the heat ran all the time.
Pretty much, rent somewhere else if you can afford it. If this is all you can afford (it was all I could afford at the time) then at least you know what you are getting in to.

This is true. Except about the kids. The kids are nice and well behaived here. Some of the college aged people need to tone down their parties though. YES parking is a nightmare! And so is getting things fixed around here. And the Mold is killer!
