I moved in on a really great special but there are a couple minor things that really put a bad taste in my mouth. Penrith has a great view but in return you must cope with variuos CREATURES. My fiance? was chased by possums one night because our neighbors left thier trash out ; and one morning walking my 14-month old daughter outside there were several snakes cicling the bushes.....so there must be mice somewhere. Let?s not get on the bugs on the inside of my apartment ..you know those little creepy things with all the whiskers that sneek in the tops of your ceilings I?ve got plenty of those..Ummmmm...roaches check......spiders check.....millepedes check...it?s disgusting. Especially when I moved in and everything was sparkling clean and white and before I got my new furniture I noticed all the bugs...they must have got them to hide away right in time for me to move in . Oh and what?s the point of having a washer/dryer that doesn?t wash and dry . The aplliances are so out of date my washer machine and Fridge have been replaced and I?ve only been here 7 months. They refuse to replace my dryer that I know is running my power bill up to 100.00 plus a month because it takes 3 hours to dry 1 load. I work six days week so it?s not possible that I use 100.00 worth of power . The staff is unprofessional their not personable, nor efficient. Maintenance does not speak to you as they pass. The nicest person I?ve met was the exterminator and you know that?s BAD. The pool staff tells the police lies....based off of their own assumptions. So if you do decide to live here don?t stay near the office,Tammy, or the pool. Be prepared bring some bug spray...act like a jackass so maybe when you see one of the community?s representatives you won?t feel so bad if they don?t speak to you. Overall theres has been no robberies, break-ins, domestic disputes, loud music and my power stayed on when the hurricane came so I can?t complain. I expect more out of them because I personally work in the real industry as well.
