I have rented an apartment at Penrith for several years now. All the issues cited here are pretty much on the money. Noise issues galore, bugs, etc. One thing I haven't seen mentioned as much is the maint staff. There are people in your apartment all the time. Most of the time there's no info why, or any communication ahead of time. More than once I've come out of the shower to find staff in my apartment. Complaints fall on deaf ears. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay for a short time near RTP, this may be ok for you, but there are better options for longer term stays. I'm counting down the says until my lease is up.
