not too bad...

not too bad.. but not too good either. Management turnover is high... christina is gone now.. which i think is a good thing. The community has gone downhill quite a bit in the time i've been here.

It all depends on the building you're in. My building is right next to the office, and a bunch of the tennants in my building have been in the same apts for years (12 yrs, 20 yrs, 8 yrs... for three of them). The other neighbors in my building are very nice, and respectful of each other.. but i know that this is not the case for all the buildings here.

the maintenence crew seems to be good. whenever i've had a complaint, they've fixed it within a day or two.. if they've had the parts in stock.. otherwise it would take longer.

there is tons of parking at my building which is nice, but one car (not mine) did get broken into last summer.

it's an older complex so if your neighbors are noisy, then living here will be awful.. it's pretty much luck with noise. The only reason i put down minimal noise is because everyone in my building is fairly quiet.

as far as safety goes, nothing maintenece wise seems dangerous, but some of the people in other buildings are

the double homicide earlier postings refer to was a dispute between some guy and his cousins... not between random people. But this could be fixed by management by raising the rents to keep the community mostly a professional community.

the fixtures themselves are old in my apartment, and the carpet was awful when i moved in... and was probably the cheapest possible when it was installed. It was not installed correctly, and my dog was able to easily tear a few large holes in it... which i will now be billed for when i move out.

the main problem here is the management. the old managemnt (christina) was horrible, cut costs with everything, and obviously didnt' do background checks with new tennants. new management may be better, but they're pressured to sell apartment leases each month, so if they're having problems selling, they may not care who moves in sometimes.

overall there are worse places to live, but there are tons of better places to live for around the same price.
