As a former resident of Woods Edge Apartment, I was very pleased with the place when I moved in. Only a few weeks after moving in the management changed, which at that time I had no problems with. Every complex has its problems and Woods Edge is no exception to these problems. Don't get me wrong it is in a very nice neighborhood (located across the street from a grocery store, retaurants, and within two minutes of a newly constructed mall), but there are some problems. One of the major problems was the trash pickup in the complex. Trash at the dumpster often overflowed which we all know is a health risk. If someone asked the question,
"Would you live there again'", my answer would problably be yes. This is simply because of its location. Good high school nearby, Three colleges (University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (5mins), Duke University (6-8mins) and North Carolina Central University 3-4mins), running and hiking trails(which are very nice), and the restaurants and mall. Although many will make it out to be the worst place in the world it is not as bad as they make it seem. In my opinion it is one of those ideal locations for college students with roommates or professional students looking for a convinent location to a library.
