don't rent here, worse mistake you could make basically everything that could be wrong with a rental, you'll find it here..... roaches, annoying neighbors, staff that isn't very helpful or even around half the time, buildings that are falling apart, technical

Weird layout, no pets allowed I lived here for 2 years while my husband was stationed in Elizabeth City. The mauve carpet was hideous. The patio is in a weird place - off the bedroom instead of the living room, which makes it awkward when you have guests over and they want to step

I liked living here, not sure what everyone's deal is There must be new management or renovations or something, but I liked living here. I think it's because they have made it extremely difficult for students to rent the apartments, which means you don't get people from ECSU

I would not recomend Riverwind to anyone. The apartments are small. We've had heat problems, washer and dryer problems, and water leakage problems. These issues were not quickly addressed by the manigment (who by the way is very hard to reach even if you're trying to pay rent).
