My husband and I are egarly awaiting the end ouf our lease, and we can't wait to move out of Briarwood Apartments.

The apartments are a decent size, but the quality is poor. The walls are paper-thin and there is usually quite a bit of night time noise from other tenants being loud and honking their horns at all hours of the night.

The quality of the apartment is poor. The cabinents and doors are old and flimsy. The shelves in the cabinets are warped and have nails sticking out. The plumbing is in a sad state. (We're lucky if our kitchen sink drains!)

Management is NOT on top of things. The AC unit in out apartment broke at the end of April (2008) and they finally had it replaced....yesterday. It took them 5 months to fix our AC. My husband and I had to buy a window unit because they didn't want to fix it.
(Which I believe is a lease violation....)

The appliances are outdated. (Something else they don't seem to want to replace)

They do have a dog park, which is a plus. But there are cats and dogs roaming the neighborhood, which could pose a problem if your pet isn't too friendly with new animals.
Briarwood is close to All American, which is very convienient. It is also close to Cape Fear Hospital, which is also convienient, as long as you don't mind listening to sirens all the time.

We'd say, for what we're paying, its not worth it to live there. There are other apartment complexes in Fayetteville that offer a better maintainence staff and updated apartments for about the same price as Briarwood is charging.

I would not recomend this place to anyone.

Please concidering going to the Better Business Bureau website and asking them to open a file on this apartment complex.
