I live in what is apparently a renovated apartment. I honestly think they paid some kid to do the renovations, because they suck. I had my dishwasher FALL OUT of my wall because it apparently was never secured in place. The water turns all my cookware rusty (jet-dry helps, but not completely). I have major roaches all the time. I had to seal off the bay window because there is a gap in it from poor construction. The linoleum is curling up EVERYWHERE, and the floors are uneven. Meaning, if you walk around in the bathrooms or kitchen, there are noticeable (BIG) bumps and dips under the linoleum. The shower has rust in it. The office ladies are very rude, and the maintenance men are creepy. Solicitors stop by all the time, upwards of 10pm. They do some sort of LOUD lawncare outside in the early morning, it's very annoying.

If you can't tell, I wont be renewing my lease.

Loud lawncare? you can't do mowing and blowing off the sidewalks quietly, but it is done starting around 8am once a week which can be annoying if you stay up late, but it's the same other places I've lived. In 6 months I have had a single solicitor (at 4pm). I don't know where these rude office lady comments come from as they've never been anything but wonderful. I too had the bugs and gap around the window screens, I reported the problem and it turns out the renovation company left out a part that was supposed to seal it, it was fixed within 15 minutes of my reporting the issue and the roach issue stopped then too (they had been crawling in around the sides of the screens). Sux about the other stuff, fortunately I haven't had issues with the rest.
