If you are in a jam to find an apartment then Cambridge Arms is the place to go. If you can afford to spend more money, then do so. Like some have said...you get what you pay for. In the two years that I've been here, my heating unit has broken 3 times. On one occasion the maitenance worker did not want to come to fix and said "I'm not concerned because I don't live there." I "politely" told he would come and fix it immediately.
Just keep in mind, if you decide to move here, these complexes are old. Old buildings and old fixtures/appliances. I have a green stove that has push buttons on it (1960's). Yes, it broke also, but they replaced the element but not the stove. Laundry facilities are terrible.... never work and "The management is not responsible."
BUT, you can make the best of where you live.

Oh yeah, the i.d. checks in the complex is REAL!
