Cambridge Arms is disgusting. Yes, the rent is cheap, and you definitely get what you pay for. Vandalism and crime are high - there was a stabbing in the building next to mine, a couple of women were raped in the laundry building, a few cars had been broken into, and my mail was stolen on more than one occasion. The parking lot is not at all well lit and needs to be re-paved - there are chunks of asphalt missing. We had continuous problems with cockroaches and spiders and I don't think they ever had an exterminator come through the apartments. The walls are thin (and in most of the apartments covered with wood panelling) and the complex is extremely noisy. The staff was never friendly or helpful, and it was very difficult to get the maintenance crew to fix problems in the apartment. I'd suggest living in a trailer park before moving into Cambridge Arms, because you'd get the same quality of living at a lower price.
