If everyone writes a letter to the base commander or the person who does the black listing list for soldiers/ ft. bragg, they will probably take all comments into consideration. I used to live at Cambridge arms and hated living there. It is a dump and I dont think that soldiers and their families should have to risk their lives living somewhere where they dont feel safe. My husband was gone for 6 months overseas and of course I had to stay there by myself. It was pretty scary. If everyone can do something now, maybe something will change.

You are completely correct. It's called an "off limits list" and the Post Commander can put places deemed unsafe on this list. It's not just limited to bars and clubs. People need to work together and make sure our military "family" as a whole is safe where ever we are. This way we can enjoy the freedom of still being able to live off post. Instead of us being forced into on-post housing under the control of privatized leasing agents of on-post housing which often take no better care of the housing as the afore mention circumstances of this complex (bugs, poor repairs, poor move-in cleanings, etc).

If you both were at the last crime meeting you would have know the status. All but 2 crimes in Nov and Dec involed the military doing the crimes.
