I moved down to NC in Dec 08 and me and my fiance needed a place to live. He is in the military and has little time off and i couldnt get anytime off until my last day of work so we needed a place fast. He found Cambridge arms and it fit our budget until we got married so we signed a 6 month lease not knowing how bad it was gonna be. We moved in on Dec 7th 2008 and moved out Dec 29 2008. We didnt even make it a month. We got married early so we could afford something nicer and broke our lease. The apartment was given to us dirty and not cleaned. The was urine on the toliets, dirt on the blinds and dead bugs everywhere. Our neighbors were beyond obnoxious. One night we had to call the cops twice. We felt unsafe 100% of the time. Besides that our sink was constantly backing up and no one ever came to fix it even after we complained. Our bathtubs backed up when you flushed the toliets, there were holes in the wall by the glass door which allowed all kinds of bugs to enter -it was a complete dump! Upon breaking our lease we were told if they moved someone into our apartment we would get re-imbursed the 2 months rent because by law they cant double charge -which my husbands sgts backed up. We didnt trust them because the staff was rude and we thought they were gonna screw us over so we went to the apartment everyday and long and behold a week or solater they had filled the apartment. We went right over to leasing office and they looked at us shocked but said we would receive a check in 30 days. We harrassed these people and 30 days later they are giving us a run around. Thank god we charged the 1100 dollars to a credit card because we are disputing it. This place was a nightmare and please save yourself the grief and do not sign a lease unless u wanna live in a trashy dump. For an extra $100 a month u can find something so much nicer!!
