Being an Army wife with a deployed husband, feeling safe was my biggest concern for an apartment. I have lived at carlson bay for seven months now and I have felt very safe the whole time. There is even a cop that lives in the complex near me. Maintenance is wonderful! I have not had the first problem with timley repairs or satisfiable repairs. Also i ahve been locked out of my apartment a couple of times and had to call the 24hr repair service number. 15 minutes and he was at my door! I really enjoy the new staff here. The previous staff wasn't so great though. The only real problems I have here are noisey neighbors (partiers), the overflowing of dumpsters, and parking. Parking is disastorous! It is very unlikely to be able to park in front of your building, close at least, but a little walking never hurt anyone, right' Also the parking lot is well lit. I would reccomend living here. And if you have pets, there is a non-refundable pet fee but, no pet rent. Also i find the location to be perfect. They are not only close to many gates for base, but also near stores like Wal Mart, Target, and the mall.
