Poor value: low-end apartments; high price

Like others, I ended up signing a lease during a move and based my decision on pictures from the Chason Ridge website and a single, solitary recommendation. Lesson learned.
Carpets are very cheap. There are not even overhead lights in rooms! Mold is a problem.
There was a police shootout here and multiple other events for which police were called. This summer, several buildings were burglarized. I personally asked management if anything was being done to ensure safety and the response was, "We're asking people to be alert and keep an eye out for suspicious vehicles." There is no security whatsoever and there was no effort to bring on some additional security during all the burglaries. Suspects were brazenly knocking on doors and staking out apartments. Obviously they felt fairly comfortable burglarizing the Chason Ridge apartment complex. While I certainly have no proof of this, I personally wonder if the burglaries are linked to someone on staff.
Noise is a problem. Neighbors throw cigarettes, trash, beer bottles, etc. around. It sometimes takes days for this to be picked up. Many residents do not pick up after their animals.
I will be leaving a the end of my lease period--there are much better values in the Fayetteville area.
