First off, they are very nice and offer great move-in specials. I fell for it and moved in because it was a good price and the staff seemed like they would be reliable and helpful. I was told that the people who lived close to me were quiet and decent people. That was a complete lie.
The apartment has small windows that provide absolutly no circulation, so in the summer the only option is to have the tiny AC unit on all the time. My utility bill is nearly $200 during the summer, but it gets up to about 95 degrees in here if I don't run the AC. Now, this AC unit goes out quite often, of course on the very hot days. It uses so much electricity that the circuits in the apartment short out and have to be reset when the AC is running, my computer is on, and I try to run the vaccuum cleaner. Last night, my AC went out so I called the *emergency maintenance* number. I believe that it was an emergency, but the man on the phone didn't. He took my name and number and said he would get somebody on it after I demanded that it get fixed immediately, however, I had to call the office this afternoon because nobody had been by to fix it, or even called. I am still waiting to hear back from them, and it is hot in here.
The man who lives on the other side of my wall has psychotic episodes at least once every week or so. During these episodes he screams at everyone who walks by, opens and slams his door repeatedly, screams things like *World War Three starts tonight* and *I didn't start it, but I'm going to finish this war*, *ready aim fire*, and other things that are very disturbing to hear coming through the wall. I called the police departmetn many times and they knock on his door, he doesn't answer, they go away, and he starts right back up again. These usually last from the late evening until about 3 or 4 AM. I have notified the apartment staff, and they must do nothing about it becuase this still happens. Next, the people below me listen to loud music with a lot of bass at all hours of the night. People also pull in the parking lot with their music up obnoxiously loud late at night. The rent is cheap, so the calibur of people that live here is disturbingly low. I didn't know that people like this even existed until I lived at this apartment.

So, native North Carolinians are just arrogant according to the previous response and they all play loud music all the time and can not write or speak well. If the army were not here there would be no Fayetteville. The apt. complex has kept lowering rent and the people moving in are not of a great group of people.
