Camelot Apartments is now known as Cross Creek Cove. I have lived here since July 2007, and I absolutely hate it here.
I have kept my apartment very clean since day one, and we have had roaches since before we moved in. Its ridiculous. I RAID my kitchen once a week- and they still come back!! Its horrible!
We've asked to have our a/c fixed for about a month, and finally when I asked the maintence worker who lives below me, he came over and fixed it. We have a ceiling fan, but one of the blades is on backwards so it doesn't work safely, the front door knob falls off all the time, the windows are all broken, the carpet is disgusting. I shampoo the floor 3-5 times a week so that it doesn't stink in here- not that it does much good.
Since we moved in they have changed management, added in features like a tanning bed and a "wireless coffee bar" in the lease office. Its not very comfortable.
The pool is tiny, the dog walking area is right next to the dumpsters and leaves much to be desired. Speaking of the dumpsters, the trash isn't picked often enough, and all too frequently the dumpster is overflowing with garbage- which you get charged 20 dollars if it is found outside of the dumpster. The playground has glass and beer bottles scattered all over it all of the time. Kids from other neighborhoods are constantly walking through,. as there is no fence to prevent them from entering the property. The "Courtesy Officer" is rarely seen. I've called the police several times since I moved in.
The one thing that I do like about Cross Creek Cove is that they haven't offered a lease renewal yet. If they did, I would surely not accept it. I can't wait to get out of here!

Instead of knocking on someone door you should have probably called the office in put in a work order. The area isn't bad at all. And if i felt that way I would take the consequences and break my lease.

It costs money to break that lease, when you view these apartments they look great, and you are shown the best. There is trash everywhere. This person is not lying at all about the play area with beer bottles and trash everywhere. I live next to it and now that it is supposed to be closed due to the swing set falling apart, the kids have for the most part gone away. They sit on the cars, throw rocks at the buildings and cars and I actually approached a parent of one of the children and he said it was an honest mistake that they were sitting on cars, doing flips off the side of my building (shaking everything in my Kitchen) and being disrespectful when I asked them to stop. The head of maintenance does things when he feels ready to. He does not like to have to the same thing more than once to a building even though it is a structural flaw and will have to be done until the building is destroyed. The office staff is very polite and very nice. They do not have anything more to do with the maint. staff than to give them the work orders. I do not blame the problems with this place on them.

I'm currently a resident, and the place is horrible!!! They changed management again, and now you can't keep animals that are over 35 lbs. When you go to the dog park, it is littered with dog poop. And so is everywhere near that area! The dumpsters have furniture behind them that have been sitting there for MONTHS! To be able to break the lease would more than put me and my husband in debt. My husband came to visit here before I moved down here, and he thought it was amazing! They gave us one apartment on King Arthur Dr, but at the last minute, changed us to English Ct. The place was a mess when my husband moved in. Swarming with roaches, and the second day we lived there, some group of men tried to break in, saying "oh we didn't know anyone lived here now". We called security, but all the manager would say was "the security officer isn't here for your protection." There have been multiple break-ins, which I'm retaliating by taking fire-arms classes, and getting my pistol license. This place is rediculous, don't come here!!!!!!!!!
