Just left this place. (Its on treetop NOT redtip rd, the place I am writing about is right off Ramsey street on the north side of town). I paid about 600/month for a 2 bedroom apartment. I have lived here for about 1 year. The apartments themselves are ok for the price; its the neighborhood you have worry about. There has been a rash of break-ins to apartments and property, there is a rapist in the area the police have yet to catch, I have came home at 3 pm to find people being intimate in their car right outside my apartment and there are condom wrappers on the grass outside of my apartment (not sure who left those). As for my fellow residents: the people are loud, dog poo is left all over the place, I see people wearing gang color and throwing signs. There is no security and anyone can come on the property and use the pool or just loiter around cars looking for one to burglarize. The staff is mediocre (unfriendly, repairs take forever) but that to be expected, they don't get paid much and have to deal with a lot of lower class people. I am excited that I have left and look forward to a better apartment living experience. My advice, pay more for a nicer place and worry less.
