The management here is awful and they try to charge you for everything, even when it is not your fault. We had a little plumbing disaster last summer and ended up being charged over $200. The plumbing is cast iron because the buildings are over 30 years old and have never been updated. The A/C works great downstairs, but upstairs is ridiculous. In the winter, the windows are completely drafty and all of the heat escapes. The wiring needs to be looked at as well. When I use my blow-dryer I get occasional sparks and one time some actually zapped me. The maintenance man tried telling me that my husband and I were using the wrong kind of shower curtain. I do not see how that is any of his business. The neighbors are incredibly trashy and they like to play their music very loud regardless of what time of day it is. The electric sockets are loose and everything falls out of them. The lawn people supposedly come every week but over the summer the grass would get so long it was nearly to the middle of my calves. There are no washer and dryer hookups and the laundry room is disgusting. Most of the equipment does not even work in them. The "swimming pool" is a joke as well. The dishwasher is about as old as the building and never worked properly either. The carpets are disgusting and I have a feeling they are going to blame us when we leave. Most of it was already here when we moved in. The fridge leaks water all over the floor and the kitchen cabinets are way too high. I am very short and cannot reach them. The "patio" is nothing more than a concrete slab with a bunch of weeds growing.
