The complex itself is very pleasant, great staff, great neighbors. I liked most the convenience to Pope AFB and downtown, the screened porch, the atmosphere. Mine's definitely not a new apartment, however kept in great shape. Consider the lake just a quiet woodline. Nothing stands out as exceptional, but I don't have a single complaint about the place. I also looked into the newer places west vic Skibo, and I recommend a trip to the east to stop by Tamarack and check it out at least.
